Are you using the PNG textures or the JPEG? IIRC, there was a problem with one of the Windows builds that broke the PNG texture compatibility. Also, why not simply copy and paste the M1A1 Aleph.exe into your other Marathon installs? This is what I did on my XP box, and everything works fine, including Hi-Res textures.
