Ok, as the originator of this thread I feel compelled to comment on these recent posts.
: Not that kind of hunter. You're thinking of the hunter with the big camoflage
: trucker hat and beer belly, he had waffles for breakfast and has a wife
: named Doris. His daughter is a high-school drop out and single mom that
: works nights at the local Wal-Mart Supercenter. He is an avid NASCAR fan,
: is planning on voting for Bush again, because they both talk with that
: stupid accent. You know Bob, don't you Drew? He overhauls diesel engines
: at the local cement company, and he's been doing that for the past 21
: years.
Yoss, that's really not cool. I have had friends who were deer hunters who have pancakes for breakfast and have wives named Gladys. Their daughters finished highschool, but coulddn't get into a good college, and work morning shifts at TARGET. They enjoy demolition derbies, and although they admire Bush's goofy accent, they also acknowledge that there are many goofy accented candidates out there better suited to their goofy accented needs. They sometimes do tune ups on steam engines at nearby aluminum siding companies, and make a comfortable living off it for many years. So you see Yossarian. It isn't fair to judge a whole group of people based souly on a sterio type just because someone may have gone to the wrong forum
: We're talking about the hunters that bleed yellow, wear head to toe body
: armor, don't drink beer, consistently vote Democrat, and are the big brown
: or green howling things what kick your ass.
Actually Hunters are predominantly supporters of the Reform party. Although it is true that Hunters don't drink beer but that's because they're a bunch of pussies.
: But "deer" was close, you've got the mammal part right.
