A question for the resident Ammo Expert...

In Response To: Re: RED Volunteers: Noises in the Dark: Pistol (Yossarian)

: I think that in the case of this weapon, Ian threw practicality out the
: window in favor of a more stylish, aesthetically pleasing weapon. Now I'm
: no nit-picker (lie), but there are a few things about this gun that makes
: me wonder if no one pointed these out to him or if he just ignored them:
[snip]
: In short, I think the concept might have worked better if he made this weapon
: less pistol-like, perhaps instead revamping a true SMG such as an UZI
: (9mm)...but I think the weapon as it stands and performs in the context of
: RED is actually quite good.
A while ago I received permission from Ian to use Marathon:Red Texture, sprites, weapons, etc in WMaiD as long as credit was given - the nice guy he is.

Last night, using only Graphic Converter, I merged the single-pistol top/bottoms of the Red Marine in the bulky armor into a single monster.
This is to implement an type of UESC shock trooper in WMaiD. The Rubicon AR are still in the scenario, but they're not exactly vacuum friendly. : )

Thus, I've incorporated this Red Submachinegun-like Pistol into WMaiD.
Could you let me know Yoss, via diagrams or description how this weapon would need to be altered (how it's described on the HUD, and/or physically) for it to avoid your any future criticism in WMaiD?

Mark, again a great job. I always thought the crushing platform was my fault. Now I can sleep easier knowing it was Ian's. ; )
Regards,
