You know, you won't probably find a copy of marathon on the net. :(
I'm saying this because we marathoners don't distrubute the game. I advice you to play through the demos first, and if you like them buy the whole game. However if you're on pc there's an aleph one m1 project, which basically is marathon 1 for free. Definately worth checking out.
