In Response To: Here's a Piece of art I made - emergence of W'kkr (Ernie)

:
:
: I cooked that up from some random source art, a few lighten layers, and a
: shilouette fo a planet. That, and my trusty smudge tool.

: The emergence of Chaos, in the W'kkr would, in my mind - be like Death.
: Something we all would spectulate about, but never know until it actually
: happens.

: Thus, I made the 'white light' somewhat chaotic, and organic. Sure, Blackness
: would sute chaos, but why? If the 'ridigid definitions' of good/light
: bad/dark are subjective ideas we apply to things... chaos could flip them
: on their end.

: I'm going to do more work on the image - but sufficent to say it will appear
: in WMaiD as a Jjaro dream terminal image. Basically to show the player
: they screwed up bigtime, and then be sent to the Jjaro plank. Woo.

I rather like it. Better than the green lightning Adam did for Eternal. Keep in mind that the W'rkncacnter, if they are indeed the same thing as the Dreaming God from PiD, are apparently very large and solid physical objects, as one of them smacked into the Earth 65 million years ago and made a rather large SMACK when it did so.

You already know (presuming you've seen the update) the Eternal explanation for what W'rkncacnter actually are, so I think your organic/electric being-of-light is a pretty damn good rendition of what a W'rkncacnter itself might look like.

Then again, to answer the other question, what would the effects of a W'rkncacnter's chaos spreading look like? Well... whatever it damn well feels like. We've had some description of these effects already, from the failed timelines of Infinity. Shields vanish... not drop, but VANISH. Half the sun goes nova... the other half could care less. I imagine a W'rkncacnter might screw with individuals the kind of way the dreaming one did in PiD - nightmarish images relating the subject's greatest fears. In Eternal I kinda take the cheap way out and have W'rk nightmares manifest as invisible Bobs, Pfhor, and F'lick'ta battling with each other, what I call "Friendly", "Enemy", and "Angry" Nightmares. Supposed to reflect on the horrors of the player's many witnessed battles. It also derives somewhat from the invisible S'pht'Kr dreamt of in levels like Where Are Monsters In Dreams. (Which makes it perfect for your project :-)

So, yeah. I like.
