I never saw Bagel Shop.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in fact. I used to think about going to New York and Connecticut fanfests, or even the Halo launch party. But, since it's so far away, maybe I'll actually go there. In 10 months I'll be 18.
It's after the release of Halo 2, but you'd have to ban häxboxen or impose restrictions on them, since Halo has been known to suck people away from other games. (Kinda like Marathon 2 for Windows sucked?) Still, maybe you could try to find room for Minotaur, Abuse, and the Marathon conversions for UT, Half-Life, and Myth. I guess the limiting factor is how many people would actually show up and play.
With TCP/IP games, you can leave it open to the Internet for people who can't attend in person, right?
Oh, here's an important one. What would such a party be without Hamish? Anyone heard from him since the last update? The last time he came here was in like 2000, right? Maybe we can remind him what he gave up his humanity for, or something like that.
Similarly, when's the next septannual meeting in southeast France? Did we ever figure out the real-world location of Muirthemne?
What other big names would we look for/invite/something? The Mac Hall crew/duo?
Ross Mills on HBO has the Marathon tattoo, so he'd BETTER come. Not that he's a big name.
