: is conspiring with the evil Alien Leader to crush the rebellion and rule
: the galaxy. OK not really but I would very much want to have Bungie
: continue the traditional Marathon story with the characters we have come
: to know and love/hate.

I've said it before, I'm saying it now and I will surely say it again: THE FORERUNNER ARE THE JJARO!!!

I'm not going to stray from that until Bungie themselves smack me in the head with something that explicitly contradicts it. And then I will be sad.
