Durandal's face?

I played Marathon almost 10 years ago. I've dabbled in M2 and Infinity since, but not much. In any case... did Durandal have a face? I don't remember ever seeing such a thing, but I'm told he actually did. I'm wondering if it was revealed in the sequels. If so, can anyone point me towards a pic? I've searched with no luck. Thanks.
