: He may be able to do the things you can't. But be warned, do not under any
: reasoning rely on his effort alone. Members can come and go for many
: reasons. Another thing to consider is would it acually help your senario.
: He may do some thing great, but if that has no place in your scenario then
: you really have no need for him.

For what it's worth, I'd like to second the advice given here by both elliott and steve.

I'd say the most important thing in a venture like a scenario is to learn *everything* sufficiently that you could do the scenario yourself, and that workign with someone else merely strengthens the scenario where other folks do things better -- and if you can follow *why* they do them better, learn and grow.

The primary reason that Gates of Fenris has taken 5 (6?) years is that Todd and I caught ourselves in a feedback loop where our similar but different approaches to mapmaking, storytelling and graphic design learned from and fed off each other.

Todd is now a professional graphic designer and I'm a professional games designer , so it seems to have worked :P
