banshee on a level

this has bothered me since i played the game, the level thats mainly a beach(cant remember wat its called coz i broke my game and havent played for like 4 months)
anyway as i was saying the beach level, on the case for Xbox it had a picture of ur guy flying a banshee, but when i go on the level i cant find a banshee!
if this sounds confusing im very sorry!
the level im talking about is the third level and if anyone has the case for Xbox halo look on it and see the pic! plz tell me if u can get a banshee on this level
