After all, Halo is a first contact scenario; perhaps Spark : realizest this too. Of course, humanity just happened to stumble across : the Forerunners most deadly weapon, so what does he do when asked what it : is? : "What? Oh, that. That's just a harmless research station. Don't worry : about its containment procedures that we are going about activating. : Relax." : I think Halo as a weapon has been touched on before, but I will still mention : it. : Just think how effective it would be to get rid of any neigbours that you did : not like, especially if you valued their real estate. Forget messy wars : that have high attrition rates for your side; just release the flood on : the unsuspecting massess, and wait. Then, jam your species into the : various huge control rooms, and trigger Halo. Voila, you have a planet : with probably most of the buildings intact. Move in, and start partying. : Again, just a few of my random thoughts. : -rc Yes, let's not forget that Halo could be just a trap for space-faring races to find and then BLAM, their whole civilization is wiped out by it. Classic Science-Fiction, never trust anyone, I love it.
