Hehe, it's hard not to make any science fiction story that doesn't have at least some plot link to a Star Trek episode. This doesn't mean the story was based on Star Trek at all, it's just that there is not much in the long run that is truly original. Geeze, I was looking at the Star Trek episode guide and there was an episode called, "The Return of the Archons" which as some might remember was the title of my first Fan Fic series here on HBO. How young minds may be subconsciously influenced... LOL.
