(Simpsons Rule) : In FoR on page 232, it says that in addition to letting Dr. Halsley go : through with project MJOLNIR, ONI stepped up funding for intel and : reconassiance missions. Small stealth ships were going to be deployed and : search remote systems where the Covenant were based. One of these ships : could've found the Covenant homeworld... The only reason the author mentioned those ships was to give substance to the battle of "Circumference" inside the orbital docking bay above Reach. I don't think the stealth ships ever launched, they were in dock and the cheif had to kill the computer to protect Earth.
