"Halo: First Strike" - more info, plus ebook info

I've managed to get through to someone at Random House finally in my quest to find out when the eBook version of HtF will be out, and along the way I got some more info on "Halo: First Strike".

Re "Halo: First Strike":

We're now working on the next Halo novel, FIRST STRIKE by Eric Nylund, scheduled for this December.

After asking for more info, such as when it's set and is it about the MC:
As for "First Strike," it will take place immediately after "The
Flood," and will continue to follow the Master Chief. Other than that, I
can't yet reveal.

So, it looks like H:FS will tell the story between Halo and Halo 2, i.e. how MC gets back to earth and gets his Mark VI armour. My guess is that he heads back to Reach to see if there's anyone left alive from the other Spartans, finds Dr. Halsey (and maybe some Spartans), and heads to Earth. I'm sure that there will be more than that :)

As for the eBook version of HtF:

As far as I know, the e-book of THE FLOOD is complete.

But then in a later email after I pointed out that it's not available to buy anywhere:
I will check to see if HALO: THE FLOOD was made into an e-book, and will let you know.

Re the incomplete eBook version of FoR:

Thank you for your note, and for bringing to our attention that the FALL OF REACH e-book was missing the Epilogue. I will ask our electronic books
division to check into that, since it was never our intention to have that
happen.

I've asked what's the deal if they amend the eBook of FoR, and I'll let you know when I hear back.
