Halo has NOT been 'chewed up and spit out', as you so eloquently put it - there is new material ALMOST EVERY DAY. (If you can't find it, maybe you want to move on to another game, and another game forum.) These off-topic threads severely limit the ability of people who WANT to talk about Halo to even FIND the Halo material... not everyone has multiple hours to scan through hundreds of posts, looking for ones that don't have OT in the title. No, it doesn't make my computer crash - but it vastly decreases the signal-to-noise ratio here, and chases away good posters. You see that little pink box above the Posting form? There's a single question in it. "Is your post relevant to Halo?" It's there for a reason. Count Zero helps run this place - when he makes a suggestion, he's not 'whining', he's attempting, in a gentle way, to bring things back on course. Some people, I guess, do better with a baseball bat across the forehead. I'll make that pink box a bit clearer, okay? (Yes, I'm back.)
