That's my source for the term, since it's a while since I've been to The Library to listen to 343GS myself - maybe I'll get the chance this weekend. Regardless of if it's "rangers" or "creatures", it's not explicit which form he's talking about. If he means the Carriers, then the spores are the Infection Forms. If he means the Infection Forms, then the spores are something smaller we don't really see in the game - except perhaps I think we might see it. You know when a Carrier explodes, there's a cloud of "dust" that could be a lot of spores. See this screenshot:
I'm not sure, but I think you see some of this "dust" when you pop an Infection Form too. I can't find a picture of that yet though. Ciarán. | |
