HALO: Killtacular Invitational for $1,000 +
Posted By: cobaltnova <emil@cobaltnova.com>Date: 11/3/02 5:47 p.m.

The HALO: Killtacular Invitational , a NO-ELIMINATION , four man team event being held on January 11th, 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona is now open to registration. The guaranteed first place prize is $1,000 but negotiations are in process with 5 potential sponsors that may increase the prize money several fold. A potential partnership between iGames and cobaltnova.com may result in the Invitational being sanctioned as an iGames Halo Winter Series Qualifying Round, which would mean that 2 - 4 teams would earn themselves a spot at the Regionals.

To Register:

Keeping in mind that that magnitude and number of the prizes will only increase from this point forward here's what you can expect:

* $1,000 going to the first place team,
* Second place automatically registered, free of charge, to the HALO: Spartans Invitational in April,
* First through fourth place potentially registered in the iGames Halo Winter Series Regional Championships,
* Catered food and drinks,
* A no-elimination bracket structure,
* Commemorative HALO: Killtacular Invitational t-shirts,
* Twelve hours of tournament games with teams from around the Southwest,
* Gain national attention from the Halo community as they read about your team's exploits (good & bad),
* The ability to join Xboxlanaz the largest, and most active Arizona Halo chapter for their monthly events,
* and the drive to become better than the undeserving team that somehow managed to beat you.

This is the second of four HALO: Invitationals being held over the course of the next year, if you're interested in seeing what you can expect check out the homepage for the HALO: Running Riot Invitational.
