It's funny. I've been doing this since I started playing multiplayer. It's gotten to the point where I can launcher a grenade using of the small hills by one base, right in front of it, and land it past the other base, so that it hits the back wall. I find this tequnique most effective for the uber cool "RPG."

You throw a grenade on flat ground far enough away so that it's close, but does no damage to you. Then, wait about 2 and a half seconds, and throw another plasma right in front of it. As in really close, but still away from it by inches. If thrown too soon, it will go up in the air, not forward. If done right, it will fly forward about the distance of the teleporter to the landing spot. It hovers almost about head to waist height. It also goes this far in about 2 seconds. Serious speed. Faster than a rocket, and, if you get really fucking good, you can nail em with it, for a sticky rocket effect. Also, if the grenade hits the ground first, it might explode before it reaches maximum distance if you're on a hill. Like I said, hills are for distance, ground is for rocket nades.

Try this when just playing for fun. It's hilarious when you nail somone, and they don't even see it. Then, when the view pans out to show their body, they see you about 100 yards away, they're like,"WTF, you cheater!." Ahhhh. Good times...
