Close enough. Two plasma torpedoes hit it... the first KO's the shield, the second burns a big hole in it. Keyes fires a bunch of missiles into the hole as he leaves, and the ship drifts into the planet and burns up in its atmosphere.

That tells you how friggin' strong Covenant ships are... they were still intact, and ready to kill him. The nuke just dropped their shields.
