(fAllen[Af]) Forunners// Ancients is a common sci fi term Use in alot of different story as the been here done that race( a race from along ago before anybody esle). That usally has kind of link with younger speciase or they were just first to be innersteller. Usally they either sublime (or move on) or they chose to die out(star trek) or wipe them selfs out or are wipe out for good reason. In this case I am choosing the later as my guess since they do not seem to be nice people when dealing with what they left us. Example alot TV shows such as Star trek, Farscape and Stargate use them usally as ploy to expain why most species are humoniod in the galaxy when true reasons are because of buget of the show. It would be wierd if do connent marathon to halo but I don't think there actally is one It would be to hard unless fix there timeline in somewierd way. I think Halo is its own story base off of ideas of marathons and little easter eggs and jokes in game that fans would get.
