In Response To: Some thoughts on movie-making... (Louis Wu) I will have to agree in here on many points. I have only submitted two videos but I honestly tried to make them unique. "Hurricane" (looking back) had a couple of dry moments for me but it was my first. "Ford" was so short that I almost didn't have time to screw it up. he he he I try to simulate what the greats of the game are doing in my videos... Nemesis, Xbill, Randy Glass, Halo-wannabe, Frogblast, ....... ( the list goes on!) I should have, and now WILL give credit for my ideas. But back to the point of the thread. THINK!!!! as you make a video. Keep a pace of music and video that doesn't let people look away. Some of the best things in life can be short. Lets not fill the universe up with pointless videos. I think at some point Mythica's bandwidth must run out...... Well, that's all from my corner of the world. :) Skavenger |
