: after scragging the hunters, skip the gravity lift for awhile & backtrack
: 1/2 way down the cliff edge path to the point where the red elite was
: cooping behind the corner on the way up (near the first healthpack for
: this scene). there's a shallow cave in that corner, roofed by two flat
: boulders. walk to the very back of this cave, then tiptoe out (too fast
: & your footsteps might obscure the effect).

: as you exit, weird haunting sounds (the ghosts of dead convenant howling at
: the moon?) will be heard. some are faintly elitish, some jackalish, some
: like humpback cetaceans with heartburn, some hiss like dead steam.

: you can trigger the ghosts every time you re-enter the cave and walk out
: again. turn all other sounds down, 'cause they can be very faint.

: spooky.

Crank the volume up a LOT - they're pretty quiet. This is 7 or 8 of 'em... there are many, many more.

(btw, Chip - I haven't forgotten about Heartbreak Ridge... just haven't had time to explore. :) )
