: 4. Why the Covenant worship the Halo, the deathground for the Forerunner they
: destroyed.
: 5. Why GS is surprised you brought such "ineffective weapons" to
: combat the Flood.

: Oh yeah, the Flood, well this has no explanation for the Flood. But in my
: head this theory seems pretty sound. Debate me on this, I'm extremely
: interested in the negative side of my theory (if there is one) ;-)

Human Scientists, after studying the types of Covenant (Grunts, Jackals, Elites, Strange floating pink things..don't ask me go read the book, and hunters) decide that the Covenant are many Alien races allied together. Sooo, maybe some of the Covenant, most likely the Grunts, Elites or Pink things, are the Forerunner(s). Maybe you should try comparing a Jackal's voice to a Grunt's voice. Different eh? No way Grunts and Hunters are the same race anyway. Just mah 2 cents tho.
