Look guys, I'm sorry if it was misleading. But it CAN be done. you just have to hit the rock; it's placed high enough so that it is just above the requisite fall length for automatic death... oh, and try jumping off the lowest part of the ledge and steering to the right in midair; you should survive to the lower ledge and still have enough momentum to hit the rock; I spent time refining the technique a bit. But it took a loooooong time.
