In Response To: Getting out of the Pillar of Autumn in Seconds (FrogBlast) Ok... here's more of this... Included are videos that actually demonstrate jumping on the light fixtures, and the effect that the player in the map has on what the player outside of the map sees. Advice for getting up into the ceiling (since I screwed up last night and had to start over): Jump in, stay centered, keep yourself pretty high up in the tube, but not all the way at the top. Look straight down after the lid closes and you should see your aimer at the top of the darker blue band in the cryo tube. Now move backwards SLOWLY, you are in good shape is the view remains stable and you are moved down a little bit, when you feel stable again (trying to move back, but not going anywhere), rotate your view, slowly while trying to move back gently. You should suddenly pop up into the air. This should give you an idea of the general way to gain height, instead of just falling through the floor. ...I'm still catching up on everything that I missed... :') | |
