In Response To: Re: My Covenant Theory (Ryan) (pete_the_duck) it is possible that they did not have any relics but the rock. They could've. Perhaps Adam & Eve (sarcasm) were the only Forerunner to make it off one of the Forerunner worlds, in a small shuttle or escape pod, hardly enough to hold artifacts and relics. In that case, they would've had to start from scrath anyway. They coul'dve crash landed, destroying the ship, and maybe a few other escapees who perished. There are infinite possibilites as to why the knowledge faded over a few thousand years. I don't know the exact timeframe between ancient pre-Judaic times and present day, but it has to be several thousande years. Any amount of information could be disrupted in that time. An interesting theory from the movie "Time Machine" comes to mid, where an Ice Age took out the entire human race, but a few survived with no knowledge of the past, but still was able to reproduce into a productive race. Anyone get what I'm talking about? | |
