In Response To: Re: ITS A NEEDLER EXPLOSION FOR GODS SAKE (Ray)

It's not a needler explosion. The explosion of the needles keeps a constant pinkish-glow to it, and the base of the energy-discharge is most definetly bright blue, just like the plasma sword. If it was a needler explosion, there would have to be an enemy with a needler nearby. I did, however, just hae an idea. What if the marine was either firing or getting hit with needles (that would explain the pink glow), and the big blue streak is actually a plasma grenade thrown by the guy with the sniper rifle? Throwing from a range requiring 2x magnification would give him enough time to throw the grenade, get out the sniper rifle and switch to frags (look at his grenade type) at the same time to make it look like he didn't throw one. He could get about a second to look through the sniper rifle before the grenade landed and detonated. Any ideas?
