You should include protista, monera and fungi(living things). And assuming that Bungie is giving a push for evolution, you are right. Also carrier flood could be the hunters. I hope im not misquoting you, "The only drawback here is that I believe the Hunter's "shell" of armor was too constricting for the Flood Carrier's nest to expand for optimum efficiency." You say it can't be because of thier shielding, but the warrior type deosnt have the shielding of its counterparts. Just pointing that out.

I think what Warbow is saying makes sense.
