Okay, just got through testing it - it works. It's a little tricky, at least with the ghost - timing is pretty critical. (Too late, and you get out on the wrong side. Too early, and you WILL be crushed.) Perfect timing, though... and you're forced right through the gates... and assuming nobody moves the ghost, you can get right back in (magically, through the gates, as Nemesis said) and fly away. Even if you CAN'T time it perfectly, having a teammate with a vehicle waiting can massively speed up the return to your home base, using this glitch. Wow. This is gonna change the flavor of Sidewinder games. Nice find! Off to post...
