Your original post made it sound like you were allowing the release schedule to confuse your understanding the production schedule. e.g. COD games are released every year, but because they've got 2 studios working on it, the production schedules are actually 2 years long. Many weekly soap operas, for example, have lead times at least a month long between filming and release. And obviously longer than that for script-writing. So if feedback is 'the writing sucks on this story line!' it's often not possible to change it for next week's episode. Point is we don't really know at what stage what pieces of the production were done. Like when people complain about Day 1 DLC and go all 'omg this should have been on disc!' - when in reality it's been maybe 3 months since they were content-complete on the disc release and did most of the work for the DLC after that. : Also, "you clearly don't understand..." crossed the line.
