Those tendrals I was thinking were used for, initially, teasing : suitors during her mating flight: after settled into a hive, they could be : used as an additional means of communication (or punishment: I can see her : smacking a drone over the head with them). I dig it. That's a great start. Frankly, I never really pictured them being all that different from regular drones either. Maybe just a little bigger. I like it a lot. :)
