In Response To: More bridge descents *VID (Sligfantry.) @Loius, > The filming-off-the-TV gave me a headache after a couple of minutes Like you say, there's no other way for me to do it. Its either that or nothing. > You ran through the same jumps a million times I think its good to see a variety of ways the fall can happen. > there's no way to know where one route down stops, and the next one starts I'll add a few captions then. There are times that can be clicked on in the description, that'll help. I just needed to get the vid out in any state or it wouldnt have got done, I'd had enough. > Just some observations, and potential ideas for the next film. I dont plan on doing any more, or even playing the game. @Rockslider, > Did you hit on the crouch-release trick yourself or is it 'known'? I made it up myself. > If you simply keep the jump button down, a jump will occur. I never knew that, good find. > do you have anything extra to say on that timing? Not really. I think I uncrouched just before the ledge. > did you notice any difference from your old method in terms of difficulty? This one seems easier. > The new descent looked like being about 1.5 seconds faster Thats good to know; I thought it might be close. > it looks essential to touch the bridge rim as you go It is, you have to run off from the rim and not jump straight over. I should say that in the description.
> I'm not sure quite what's happening. Any comment? Nothing helpful, I just aimed for the back of the ledge and hoped I didnt die. > I wonder if (just for fun) such a boarding could also be done from on the ground It can. I jumped off that landing rock and into it to make sure it could actually be done before fully committing to it off the ledge jump. > One more long-distance route - there's also an option for the near right I had a quick go from the V on that side but didnt find anything. Well done. > In your descent work, did you die much when hitting the top? Almost all the time.
