In Response To: Re: Difference is... (Cardo 8 atl) :I would like to have the fastest run without using skipping : tactics? Then you can watch Full Path runs or High Score runs (where applicable). Or pick up the controller yourself! One of the main points in speed running is a consistent ruleset so that runs can be compared easily. Going down the road of banning certain tactics/tricks is a slippery slope where you end up trying to pander to everyone's whims of 'how the game should be played'. : There is not much difference, again, to me. You seem to have completely missed the 'AI vs. human' bit. : To each his/her own, I reckon! No. Good competitions require consistently applied rules. There is an implied rule in the existance of the MP maps walls that you should stay within them. You objective, your enemies are within them. In Campaign, your goal lies in areas that may not even exist yet. Your objective very often isn't the enemies and is flexible in many ways as to how you reach the objective points.
