I've made sure to kill whatever's nearby, too, but : unfortunately I have made a mistake and missed a Knight. Well, they sure : do love teleporting right in behind you to one hit kill you. That two : seconds just turned into going back to a previous checkpoint just to get : right back to that same button press. That's happened to me too. I suppose the difference is that I just never blamed the animation for it or even considered it a contributing factor. I've been upset at enemies seemingly appearing from no where (something that actually does happen with Prometheans), but if I make a mistake, that's ultimately what it was. My mistake. : That clearly MUST be it. Honestly, I brought it up because I was killed on : more than one occasion due to the above, and when asking others about it : on Xbox Live, I found that they ran into similar problems with it. But : nope, clearly this was just me griping just to gripe. I forgot how much I : enjoy having to repeat certain areas or parts of the game because I did : something as mundane as pressing a button and losing full control of my : avatar's ability to move and interact with everything else in the world. Hold back on taking it personally. I was not specifically referring to you (though you do like to be verbal. I found the UI very simple to figure out as well, but I'm not going any further than saying that), it's a very general observation that includes what I've witnessed here and on the comments of gaming news sites. It just so happens that how seriously these animations are being taken feels like a new and depressing low point to me.
