In Response To: Re: My H4 review - Campaign (Gameplay and Story) (Bry) I think that Rockslider made a fair point when he said that he considered that HIS press of the button on his controller was the Chief pressing the button. That's how I see it. It happened quickly and is now gone. I didn't press a button to ask my avatar to initiate a button pressing maneuver. To me that breaks immersion because, apparently those arms that I see on the screen are not my arms. They belong to my avatar who performs the command that I just gave it. In my mind, by the time the on screen action takes place, I have already pressed the button. The animation that follows is a redundant flashback to ancient history. : Speaking of risk/reward, where do assassinations figure into all this?
I don't like them, they make me vulnerable but I put up with them because I know that some other people really like them. I just try to avoid triggering them. I complain more about the buttons because they are a newer feature and because I don't believe that other people are as fond of them as other people are fond of assassinations.
