Of course, IMO. : Kermit nailed it. I don't understand the thought process. Kermit thinks 343 had to make that last scene explicit because people wouldn't get it, yet they leave most of the real details 'hidden' for people to discover. Those don't seem compatible to me, and it probably just boiled down to bad writing, which is a problem in 99% of video games anyway.
