Several of my non HBO friends : (the ones that casually play Halo and don't do anything with the expanded : fiction) said the exact same things that he did and it all revolved around : not having a clue as to why the main characters were supposed to matter, : why the same objective was repeated multiple times, and just what exactly : the new plot was about. : They all said that once they got to the didact that's when they got lost and : stopped caring about the plot. : I am happy that 343 DIDN'T 'michael bay' my Halo. : I am sad they didn't take more actual risks : I understand that I am a Halo fan who is impossible to please (just like all : the rest) and I think 343 did pretty good all things considered. I can't seem to find it but somewhere I mentioned my concern of those who have little know how of the expanded universe of Halo - and how they were going to react to it. This will be 343's biggest challenge. How do the fans explain to those who are not. ZP used to be right funny.... then it got all .... syndicated. :/
