Yes there is a reason for weekly. Keeping people involved over time. I have never said there isn't commerce and profit behind all of this. I've grown up with this type of commercial system since televisions first came out (well, in Nova Scotia anyway). I'm fine with it.

I do not know what all it will take to get these episode out weekly. We do know Spartan Op is in production months before it is released. That is quite a different scenario from the daily soaps you mentioned. I strongly suspect a Season 2 will begin production before the game releases and may or may not make it to market depending on sales and interest. Probably we won't see it until late winter. Just guessing.
