Alot of those areas that you think are nothing but blurriness are outlining range finders, additional very tiny info, etc

I already know the counter argument

"sure there is tiny text there, but im not 2 inches away, I cant read it"

and your right

The Halo HUD is a mix of HUD and HMD

Some of the images are projected onto the visor, some of the information is integrated into the visor
343 didnt just sit there with a tablet and a giant projector in the cafeteria so people could come up and scribble lines on the visor for no reason

All of this information, these lines and everything, means something to the Chief, to the designers, and to a majority/minority of the fans

Im sorry that you dont like it man but Ive given you every possible explanation and reasoning I can possibly think of as to why it is the way it is, I think you and I both are just going to have to sit in our corners and agree to disagree

Id love to convert you but clearly it isnt possible, hopefully it wont ruin Halo for you

Not to be a jerk about it, but once your playing the game I highly doubt you will ever even notice the lines

I mean, RC Master just flat out told me the lines didnt appear in Halo 3, even though they clearly do, think about how much Halo RC has played!

He didnt even realize it, and the thing is, neither will you, and neither will I

Its a subconscious feeling of immersion, the only reason the lines on the HUD are bothering you and the words on the screen are bothering the try-hards is because your looking at still images

Once the game is in motion, this will absolutely all be for not.

Absolutely no hard feelings, and hopefully this came out completely non confrontational because the last thing I want to do is seem rude or upset at you, I understand you are very affirmed in your opinion as am I with my own.
