It's a beautiful piece and as you mentioned with the symbolism, its a very good choice for what John will face. I'd have to say that the Halo 3 cover was the best. Disregarding the big bulky HALO 3 logo at the top, there was not a thing on that piece that disappointed me. Beautiful arrangement of colors coming up from the destroyed landscape to the stormy skies evoked a very powerful emotion from me. John's pose complemented it by showing ambition and a bit of reservedness. At least with the last part, that's what I'd like to see for the Halo 4 cover. And while its not the best choice in terms of the wide scope of art they could have picked, I do think it fits the bill nicely.
