Careful, it's actually possible to confront an old person with facts they do not remember at all. Paranoia? No. Recognition Halo has to grow beyond much of what it was? Yes it does. That includes it's musical scores. Sure, I'd love to hear hints of the old stuff in the new soundtracks but it's okay for me if it doesn't. We'll never agree on such matters. We shouldn't knock ourselves out over it though. Loftus and I disagree on many such points as you are indicating but rather than go head to head, we just remind each of of our positions and move on. If a Halo movie were to come out, I would certainly appreciate some (maybe a lot) homage to the old soundtracks along with a boatload of new stuff. The last thing I want to read is forum after forum talking about how tired they are of hearing the same old tunes. Now that would be a downer for me.
