In Response To: ODST, the best spin off ever made? (ElzarTheBam) : http://www.oxm.co.uk/41343/features/halo-3-odst-the-best-spin-off-ever-made/ It underwhelmed me. When it was first being teased, even the first bit of gameplay we got in E3... I was thinking the night time missions would be very stealth based. That the silenced weapons would actually work instead of being a gimmick. I thought the the story would be really non linear, and that you would piece things together naturally, and not "Well, you can play it out of order, but it wouldn't make much sense." I just thought it would be MORE. I thought I would be MUCH more vulnerable as an ODST. But truth be told, I approached every encounter in ODST like I would as a Spartan. Same effectiveness. I still enjoyed it immensely, but it could have been so much more.
