Hunh? I don't see MS as the villain of this piece, particularly given the fears I recall at the time of Uni/Fox cranking out another Aliens vs. Predator turd-in-punchbowl flick if MS hadn't kept tight hold of creative control... and that the box office on a Halo film done right would've easily justified the costs.
Then again, I share their distrust of how movie studios work given the antics I've read about in the industry's history.
-- Steve hates the Hollywood production system; it's so inefficient and wasteful.
