In Response To: Podcast Summary (CaneCutter) Not sure if I've seen this specifically covered anywhere ... To the extent that H4 includes a progression system that inlcudes unlocking of certain weapons (and perhaps other 'capabilities'), are these only relevant in determining your starting loadout *only*, or do they also impact pickups? Example: if I haven't unlocked the BR, I think it is safe to say I can't spawn with it. However, if I happen across a BR on the map (dropped by a foe, or 'placed' there by design), can I pick it up and use it? I would certainly hope so, but haven't seen this specifically addressed. To remove the pickup capability from the game would be a signigicant alteration in feel, and would negate those moments of splendor when you, for instance, take down the sniper and claim his weaponary spoils as a prize. Would love to see this answered to put my heart at rest.
