Battlefield 3 has really worn me out on that concept. I love the game, but hate that part of it. It was especially bad when I had to grind through coop missions for hours just to unlock weapons for multiplayer. That was a stupid decision on their part, and they pretty much admitted it when they eventually halved the amount of points needed to unlock those weapons. I really, really don't want something like that happening in Halo 4.
