Ironically, I find that while most of the people here are up in arms over the information, the article itself reads like something that will get the general population (who are likely to be enticed by a magazine cover at the grocery store) who aren't F5'ing across certain minor subsets of the internet very, very excited for Halo again.

And for that fact, it's probably going to work wonderfully. Maybe the hardest of the hardcore fans are up in arms, but I do have distinct recollections of this occurring with every single Halo game, as long as I remember. And most sequels if I knew people who were passionate about a series.

I mean, not the least of which a lack of sprint in Halo 2, the inclusion of Dual wielding, and the BR not having a semi-auto option all ruined that game forever. And having more than two grenades, no sprinting, and the game breaking pieces of equipment that took away the Golden Tripod ruined Halo 3.

At least, that's what I remember hearing before everyone played those games.
