The article does more justice than someone's bullet points does. I'm actually looking forward to the game, even if it's fundamentally different from Bungie's Halo. I don't know if Halo as it was could possibly still stand up against some of the largest titles in gaming these days. The life cycle of game is pretty short with so many other impressive games coming out, and I think most people are past Halo now. I don't blame 343i for wanting to breathe new life and revitalize the series.

I like Halo- a lot. And, yes, I care a lot about Bungie and their gaming philosophies. But I'm glad that the series might just have a chance against fading out of relevance- even if it is a different kind of beast.
