Because oh man, releasing information for the first time to the public in a magazine that requires a Podcast to fill in the blanks and clear up confusion is such a FANTASTIC marketing strategy! This game is going to sell so well and be so awesome with marketing like this!

Listen, I get your point and for all I know your point is completely right and I'm going to end up looking very, very foolish at the end of all this. And hey, if I do, I'm big enough to admit if I was unbelievably horribly wrong. The thing is, based on this information that they've revealed to the public (still barely 8 months to launch most likely and almost no information shown or heard of in this entire time), what reactions were people supposed to have? Also, I don't have time to listen to an hour long Podcast waiting to hear the intricate amazing details that will sooth over the marketing failure that this magazine release appears to be (since, you know, it needs a Podcast to clear it all up). But maybe Greenskull will do one of those "Podcast in 5 minute" video things he's been doing and include all the pertinent details. Or someone at HBO will make a thread laughing about how it didn't clear anything up or made everything worse or who knows what.

But hey, great way to find out for sure would be for 343 Industries to, you know, actually show some gameplay for once finally. Or do we have to wait for E3 to see that? Or PAX Prime? Or launch? Great way to shut up stupid opinions and nerdrage: quit telling/talking and start showing (which is, conveniently, also a great way to write a story or deliver it whether in writing, on screen, or even in games).
