The water is actually 2 simple planes with a noise : texture applied. only 4 verticies on each plane :) A guy that goes by : Agus3D came up with that node setup and a couple other tricks I used. : Total memory used on the scene was about 1.5 gigs. : There are 54000 trees and they are all medium poly trees with leaves as a : mesh. There is close to 20 billion verticies total. : Cycles is awesome... Cool I'll have to take another look at blender again, havent used it in a long time.
