Are you saying that you're only upset about all of this because you're not eligible because of the ethnicity requirements?

I think maybe you don't understand that we're all in a tizzy because you keep bringing up the voice acting thing. Why? Why do you do that?

You know, I'm betting they're looking for a non-white actor between the ages of 18 and 40 because that's what the fucking role is for. Why should they look for anything else?

If I saw a job posting for someone looking for a Mac technician, and I had little/no experience in the Mac software, I wouldn't say, "Well, I could fake my way through it; I'm certified to work on Windows, and that's close enough." Maybe they want to get the job done right the first time and not just bet that someone else can make it work.

Alternatively: Does it make sense to hire a white teenage kid to play a 26 year old man from Jakarta?
